Acclimation
August 24 - August 30

It's time for our next event! Although power seems to have stabilized within the city recently, there are some issues with the characters themselves.

Starting Saturday, 8/24 until next Friday, 8/30, characters will occasionally feel excessively hot or cold. Seasons be damned, they can be going for a swim and suddenly seem as if they're about to collapse from the heat. Or they could be grocery shopping and end up incurably shivering. Characters can be hot one time and cold the next. If only the thermostat would make up its mind!

The only way to fix this is by physical contact with someone on the opposite end of the spectrum. If your character is hot stuff, they're going to need to find an ice queen (or king). The more physical contact, the faster it works.

You are encouraged to change your character's temperature to balance the hot/cold ratio with other characters as needed. That's part of the fun!

If your character decides not to do anything about their predicament, they could end up in the hospital with heatstroke or hypothermia. Sucks to be them.

This plot is opt-in, so it's not a requirement to play. If you have any questions, ask away! Otherwise, you can use this entry to plot with your fellow players.

Yes, I have a question for you! It's about characters with a temperature sensitivity; say I have a character like M'gann, who can tolerate cold temperatures pretty well, but is really, REALLY sensitive to heat. Would I want to treat this as a Big Deal for her if she gets saddled with a high temperature, or go with it being more like the effects on a normal human?

She will mostly be going cold (her icons work better for it), but Asuka being Asuka yoyo-ing between being hot and being cold is too spectacularly in character to miss out on.

...Half tempted for her to just get really pissed off and wind up with hypothermia because she's a stubborn idiot, but that can happen towards the end of the event or something idk. EITHER WAY, WHO WANTS TO PLOT SHENANIGANS?

Holiday is going to be hot for the start of this event. She'll believe it's a fever or something and try to hide herself somewhere so that she won't "get anyone else sick" until she realizes what's happening. After that, she'll be freezing for the rest of the event.
