Hello everybody, it's that time of the month, with apps and acceptances and whatnot! Instead of filling the OOC comms with intros, this is a MEET AND GREET for new players and characters!

• This is a place for you to introduce you and your character. You can ramble on about what you want to do while you're here, CR opportunities, your cats, anything.

• Reply to others about how EXCITED you are to play with them!

• Maybe make some friends!

• An IC intro log will be posted for all incoming players on August 15th!

It wouldn't help that Yamamoto is seriously terrible at explaining things. He seriously just makes sound effects for the most part. But yeah he'd probably just let Noel think all these things and even draw a Moogle face on the baseball if that helps.

It is kind of violent when Yamamoto plays it. He doesn't pull punches when it comes to throwing. D: Also the people he wants to play baseball with are mafia members so you can bet the people he'll collect will all be ridiculously strong.

He'll be all right. Part of why I take him from the canon-point that I do, since he's a bit more like his old self that way. Even if he will awkward at hugs. Like what are you doing people.

Gosh that reminds me of a couple of characters in Haikyuu so I can picture it. And yes that won't help at all. Noel will just have to observe it himself...and then wonder why nobody uses spells in this game. You could hit that ball so far with buffs, Yamamoto.

Isn't he hardcore about anything you call a game, ever? That sounds like it'd be some brutal baseball, but at least Noel's guess wouldn't be that far off then.

I wish it were possible! And I'll totally be thinking about it /o/ And god, they don't. Even in canon, they get tossed aside or de-badassed (except Lal, you can't de-badass her at all).

Lol people who are awkward at hugs are the best in a hug game. I feel like I copped out by bringing someone who genuinely doesn't mind but someone has to do the hugging around here.

I still need to watch Haikyuu lol but it comes highly recommended. I just started watching some sports animes I don't know what my life has become. Though oh man if he used spells during the baseball game it was be great lol. It would just become a free for all let's be real.

And yup. o/ You say anything is a game and he's one hundred percent hardcore about it, he's kind of insane.

Ninja baseball sounds amazing this needs to happen or I will be legitimately upset. And if most of the people who turn up to play are fighters too, it'll be more like a free for all and not a game.

The 1987 series is good, but so is the 2003 series this Donnie is from. They're both excellent in their own ways, though I have to express a slight preference for the 2003. Still haven't seen the most recent cartoon.

I don't know, Noel, you share a voice actor with Kovu and Max Goof, and I've heard both of them sing decently...

Hah. XD With Keyderps like Sora and Ven? Getting cavities is definitely a way to know you got it right -- Terra leads to more 'OH GOD TERRA, WHY' palmface-worthy moments with a side of 'now is not the time for sarcasm' and 'Keyderps and their Big Damn Hero moments'.

Terra has some very special moments, though I'm quite sure he could make cavities happen too. All that talk of hearts and whatnot. And hey, he's quite the gentleman when he's dealing with Cinderella, and that's sweet in its own way.

I know how that goes. One of my longtime characters is Ventus from Kingdom Hearts and boy, he'd be a hugger and a half. Nothing wrong with having a balance in the universe.

I'm usually the sort that doesn't want to look at sports anime but my sister prodded me and darn, it's quite enjoyable. Definitely worth viewing. And if Noel gets the impression you're supposed to go all out he'll very likely do so.

...Hug game, Yamamoto, go. Insane hug people.

Half-Disney. That makes me very self-conscious about the whole 'singing' thing.

We're totally discounting anime. The only way you could get pinker hair is if you're from a magical girl anime.

He's done it before now, usually in those 'Goddamn Keyderp' moments. I'm left reeling almost every time, too. But the canon instances of him being a sweetheart and a dork are almost too much for words sometimes.

Clearly. I'm now trying very hard not to attempt enabling - I've been wanting a Ven in the game for a while now, just because at his current AU canon point, Terra's... probably going to latch only little bro because of OH LIGHT YOU'RE AWAKE YOU'RE OKAY DON'T SCARE US LIKE THAT AGAIN stuff.

Makes you wonder what kind of world initially produced Terra, right? Like where do guys like this even happen. It's cute, though Aqua really ought to get those kiddy-leashes for both him and Ven.

Aww. I've got him reserved at a place for CRAU since he had some huge development but if you ever want me to hit up Terra in D_M or somesuch, he could certainly pop in on that. Since I've got Noel here I'm gonna let him get comfortable.

You really gotta wonder sometimes, with how naive/sheltered he comes off as in early game, and how willing he is to give people the benefit of the doubt.

That would be a great and terrible phenomenon indeed.

I've definitely wondered. Of the lot, only Aqua seems to have a healthy dose of common sense - though at times even Ven seems to beat Terra at squinting down shady types. Have seen people postulate that Terra simply doesn't want to judge on appearances, or maybe wants to believe darkness doesn't always make someone bad, though I don't think I could make a call either way. I couldn't play Terra properly.

But he still might need it.

Funnily enough, he was in the wonderful world of Pokémon. But yes after three years he grew up quite a bit. Terra and Aqua came and went a lot, so he was actually heavily influenced by Lightning and Hope from FFXIII. Still a derp though, and still thinks Terra is the absolute coolest. Just nudge me anytime you'd like to see him.

I tend to play Terra as not wanting to judge people based on what he senses, but by their words and actions. He has darkness in his heart, and he knows he isn't an evil person. Why should he assume the same of others? It's sweet and naive, and tragic considering what happens to him.

Lightning and Hope? Those aren't bad friends to have at all, so big bro's nodding a bit in approval. Good company to keep, little bro. :)
