EVENT: Winter Showers Bring Spring Flowers Part 1
Hello there, Acolytes new and old! Twi, your resident cat moderator checking in with an announcement!

Winter Showers Bring Spring Flowers
All January and February 19 - February 25
As mentioned in a very important "news" broadcast, record rainfall in over four decades has been witnessed within the city! For the last few weeks, the sewer systems and river had been working with keeping the flooding down. This will change on the 19th, as rain seems to pour from the sky at an alarming rate and melting snow from mountains from the west cause a flash flood.
All low-lying areas of every available district (especially riverfront property) will be under two feet of water. Unfortunately, this also includes the Guest Apartment Complexes. Calls for helping to protect the following buildings from being overcome by the flood are:
District 1
District 2
District 4
However, sandbags and earth magicks will only go so far... and the Guest Apartments especially will begin to suffer from flood waters filling the first floors on the 22nd. Elevators will be shut down, and for a while it will begin to seem rather bleak. A recently recovered Rhea will then come over the network, urging for guests to gather on the bridges between buildings on the 4th and 8th floors and to assist any who cannot climb the stairs. But why the bridges in particular, and where will they go after that?
The seventh district.
Passenger airships recently recovered from a district whose opening was delayed from the strong winds and harsh rain will wait for any guests who wish to find higher ground and shelter. Shelter comes in a new (old?) apartment complex called Repose Residential. A complex with fewer floors and apartments far too massive for just one person, if the three bedrooms (one with bunk beds, even!) in each were anything to go by. There are no shops or small cafes on the first floors, but they are well above the flood waters should they choose to weather the storm in an airship piloted by some who may seem a little... familiar.
Of course, if they think they have the amenities for last for however long it takes for the flooding to subside, they are more than welcome to stay in the apartments...
The flood waters will begin to recede on February 28th.
Making the transfer to Repose Residential is entirely optional, but we should warn you that once the flood waters recede, reconstruction efforts on the Guest Apartments may take quite some time. Should they choose to later, guests can return to collect their belongings and move permanently into the new complex. This offer is open to all, and the design of the rooms is entirely up to your interpretation!
