Hello everybody, it's that time of the month, with apps and acceptances and whatnot! Instead of filling the OOC comms with intros, this is a MEET AND GREET for new players and characters!

• This is a place for you to introduce you and your character. You can ramble on about what you want to do while you're here, CR opportunities, your cats, anything.

• Reply to others about how EXCITED you are to play with them!

• Maybe make some friends!

• The IC intro log will be put up on January 20th!

NAME: Bird (...yes, I know. I go by bird. My character likes to use bird-themed aliases. This wasn't planned, I swear.)
CHARACTER(S): Harold Finch (Or Wren. Or Crane. Or Crow... he goes by a lot of different names, okay?)

PLANS/ETC: Hi yes for those of you not familiar with Person of Interest, Finch here may very well be the original paranoid parrot. Well, okay, he's just a very private person, and he hasn't gone by his real name in decades, but would you be open about who you were if the government wanted you for sedition? I thought not. With that in mind, good luck hugging him.

Oh! He's like a computer genius and all, so you're gonna probably wanna check out the permissions post I conveniently have linked right over here. Hint: he hacks things. He's good at hacking things. Very good. We should discuss your character(s)'s network privacy, fo' real.

Haven't quite settled on if he'll use an alias or not while here, but as far as plans... expect at some point a very concerted effort to find and hack into government computer systems. Since he will want to know what's going on and why he's here at what is a very bad time for him. And why the people in charge couldn't just ask for help. You know, simple things like that. Oh God, he's going to have two governments wanting him on sedition charges, isn't he?

He can be found in Building 2, apartment 3-16.

Hi! I'm Kay, and I play M'gann M'orzz, superhero-in-training who in her canon was also getting some stealth/black-ops skills on the side. (Via...Blowing a lot of things up and causing lots of property damage. Her team isn't necessarily GOOD at the discreet part of their missions.) She sometimes works with other people who have bird code names.

Loved reading the character app and learning about the canon! (I don't watch a lot of live action TV sadly, so it's cool to learn about new shows!)

Hi there! I'm Jojo, and I play Naoto Shirogane from Persona 4 and Junpei Iori from Persona 3!

I'll admit, Junpei's pretty clueless computerwise so he'd not notice anyone hacking onto his network/his game system (is that possible?) but Naoto's a liiiiittle bit more observant; being a famous detective at 16 years old, after all. :V So if you wanted those two to play cat and bird a little, I'd be all for it /o/

That and Fuuka Yamagishi from Persona 3 who Bunbuns plays is also really computer saavy, so they'd both probably notice something. :V

Hacking, you say? See, when this lady here hears "breaking into government systems", her immediate response is "need a guard?" Because in her world hacking is done with the mind and entails leaving your physical body totally vulnerable. :D

Anyway. Nice to meet you, Bird! I'm Cherry and I play Fortuna here. She's the customizable player character of a game based on a tabletop game. She has a couple of complicated little robots that he may have a hard time poking into and I will be heading right to your permissions post to talk about it there!

Welcome! I'm Vorko, and I only have one character here at present, Dr. Walter Bishop from Fringe. He's extremely intelligent, but knows very little about computer security. He knows it's there, and hasn't gone beyond learning about it. That was what his son Peter did.

Behond that, it's cool to see you here! Harold looks really interesting. Makes me want to look for some Person of Interest eps.

CHARACTER(S): Tim Drake (DCAU Robin, which is the only other alias he goes by)

PLANS/ETC: Plans for Tim? To continue Batman's legacy from his new home while also figuring out why he was brought instead of Bruce! Since he's from the DCAU, he's the 2nd Robin after Dick Grayson and is from before that whole incident with The Joker.

He'll be staying in flat 3-04, Building 1. Feel free to stop by, though it might be a couple of weeks before he catches onto the notion of keeping things for guests to drink/snack on.

PLANS/ETC: Akashi is a very badly-adjusted teenager masquerading as an extremely well-adjusted teenager and wow does he do a great job of it!! Most of the time he's pretty courteous and kind and an upstanding young citizen, but if you start talking to him about WINNING and VICTORY you will soon realize he's got some serious underlying psychological problems.

I just want him to hug people a lot because he probably has had a severe lack of physical affection and I want to fix that :(

He's in 2-20 in Building 1.
