EVENT: Memory Swap
Based on some player plot suggestions, we’ve got a little bit of fun planned for you guys in the form of an event! It’s been a while since there’s been some tampering with the direct effects of contact between characters….And it’s about time for that to come into play!
How so? Starting on the 23rd (and going to the 30th with some leeway) memories and recall might become a bit odd for your character, and people they’ve been close with.
See, the contact system has been finicky again, and those people you’ve been spending time with, been in contact with...You might get to know them better, and vice-versa. It could begin in dreams, or a sudden hallucination.
But certain memories from your companions could end up in your head, and you trade some of your own. You may even LOSE those memories for a short time. Maybe it’s a dark secret, a sad or a happy memory…Or just that embarrassing event you try to forget about. But it’s not just yours anymore.
MECHANICS FAQ:
Can I swap memories with more than one person?
Quite possibly! The main thing is that it’s a two way swap, between you and the other character. So for example, Character A can swap memories with B, and then swap memories again with C. But if B and C want to swap memories, they’ll have to make contact.
Can I swap memories that aren’t my own?
As mentioned above, no. You’ll need to make contact with the original owner of the memories if you’d like a swap!
Do I have to forget?
Not at all! That’s an optional effect for extra drama, to take or leave as you see fit.
What memories count?
Canon memories, RP memories, it’s all good.
Do you happen to have a text box I can use for this event?

Hey, all the more reason! She could... offer to help her practice? And even if not they can bond over how hard it is to learn (ignoring RPG mechanics because I'm sure Serah did not start off knowing how to do acrobatics while firing off arrows despite what game play would have you think).

and you know what, Cupid would love that, even if the practice wouldn't help much-- she's been at this for like at least 3000 years she is still so bad at it whoops (and yeah, I feel that-- I still wish they'd given her a whip-sword or something)

No but there's a lot I love about XIII and a lot that could have been done better- but such is the case with most games. I CAN'T HELP IT THOUGH, i really do feel like they were a huge part of the reason I kept trucking through the drier and more difficult grindy parts of the game (FREAKING PALUMPOLUM). You can be as honest as you like. /chinhands
Excellent! Archery buddies it is! I feel like this is the start of a sincerely beautiful friendship. If we ever get a Snow Serah should totally introduce them (and invite Cupid to the wedding.). :)
