EVENT: Memory Swap
Based on some player plot suggestions, we’ve got a little bit of fun planned for you guys in the form of an event! It’s been a while since there’s been some tampering with the direct effects of contact between characters….And it’s about time for that to come into play!
How so? Starting on the 23rd (and going to the 30th with some leeway) memories and recall might become a bit odd for your character, and people they’ve been close with.
See, the contact system has been finicky again, and those people you’ve been spending time with, been in contact with...You might get to know them better, and vice-versa. It could begin in dreams, or a sudden hallucination.
But certain memories from your companions could end up in your head, and you trade some of your own. You may even LOSE those memories for a short time. Maybe it’s a dark secret, a sad or a happy memory…Or just that embarrassing event you try to forget about. But it’s not just yours anymore.
MECHANICS FAQ:
Can I swap memories with more than one person?
Quite possibly! The main thing is that it’s a two way swap, between you and the other character. So for example, Character A can swap memories with B, and then swap memories again with C. But if B and C want to swap memories, they’ll have to make contact.
Can I swap memories that aren’t my own?
As mentioned above, no. You’ll need to make contact with the original owner of the memories if you’d like a swap!
Do I have to forget?
Not at all! That’s an optional effect for extra drama, to take or leave as you see fit.
What memories count?
Canon memories, RP memories, it’s all good.
Do you happen to have a text box I can use for this event?

…that sounds incredible, how is that a thing, that's awesome. Sounds good! Uhhhh for happier stuff on Davesprite's side, I'd picked out learning turntables or finding out he could turn back time and go and fix things, but I can go poke around for other stuff if you think something else'd work better.

And Krok's crew was mostly freaked out and he was just "HEY GUYS LOOK I THINK THIS THING USED TO BE ALIVE AND IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN ONE OF US".
And ooh, turning back time and fixing things would be an interesting/awesome thing to swap, actually. Krok can, uh. He can totally see why that would make somebody happy.

Cool! It… would probably also include why. It's not a thing we actually got to see, so this is a little loose, but essentially I figure the memory would involve the whole dungeon dive (possibly including puzzles, if you'd like?), and then obtaining the turntables and all of Davesprite's thoughts about 'yes now I can go stop John from being an idiot and Jade will be fine and we'll kick this game's butt together' and probably end before Rose pours water on the idea of going back right now. Also he'll be uh less feather in that so! Good times?
